Captain Dynamo's old enemy, the monstrous Whiptail, embarked on a new rampage across Tower City.

But Dynamo 5 soon learned that this creature was not the original Whiptail, but was instead rogue F.L.A.G.

Agent Nicole Nakamura, who had stolen the Whiptail serum and was using it on herself. Following Nakamura's capture, Myriad obtained a sample of the serum which he delivered to Maddie, for reasons unknown.

Meanwhile, F.L.A.G. Agent Augie Ford, Maddie's old partner, began to suspect that Maddie was connected to Dynamo 5.
